Specialising in international collaborations, TNE partnerships, workforce development and Australia–India institutional collaboration. With experience spanning government engagement, education policy, skills assessment and international partnerships, Kushagra works with Australian universities, vocational education providers and education organisations seeking to establish meaningful and sustainable partnerships across India. His professional experience combines a deep understanding of Australia’s higher education and vocational education systems with practical knowledge of India’s rapidly evolving education landscape. This enables us to provide strategic advice that bridges policy, regulation, institutional collaboration and commercial opportunity.
Kushagra has worked with VETASSESS, Australia’s leading skills assessment authority, where he contributed to policy implementation, occupational assessment frameworks, workforce mobility initiatives and strategic projects supporting Australia’s skilled migration and workforce development systems. His work involves collaborating with government stakeholders, analysing emerging workforce trends and supporting quality assurance across nationally recognised assessment programs.
Kushagra currently serves as the Head of Education, Skills & Workforce Mobility at the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) and an active member of the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA), where he leads engagements between Australia and India.
His experience spans government engagement, education policy, skills assessment, workforce development and Australia–India institutional collaboration. He has worked with Australian universities, TAFEs, government agencies, Indian education leaders and industry partners.
